COMPUTERS FOR PUBLIC
The Gilbert Volunteer Fire Department has been awarded eleven computers for a public lab to be set up inside Town Hall. This award was granted by Future Generations. The lab will be open in the council chambers of Town Hall. The public is invited to use these computers for high speed internet connection. Classes will be set up for online training courses and information can be obtained by calling Town Hall at 304-664-9625 and watch for postings of classes that may be of interest.
Classes will be set up for those that have never used the internet or those that may need additional training such as setting up e-mail, attaching files or using a web cam. If you would like to have a class taught online, please contact Town Hall and make that information known.
Refurbished computers will soon be offered for sale for a low cost to those that may need a computer at home.
Visitors in the area will also be able to access the internet during open hours.
The Town of Gilbert and the Gilbert Volunteer Fire Department are very fortunate to be included in this program.
